I have tried all of the Social Media Marketing Platforms. I started with MySpace and you remember Tom right? All of them had advantages and disadvantages, as well as they all had a life span for burnout and rust lol I made money on each, but then, as the world Markets changed, they didnt, until it was too late.
I Learned a lot about Social Media Marketing. I understand what works and what does not work. Sometimes they just want to control your direction and sometimes the Platform itself becomes your competition. I also did not want to create products and services for sale. I didnt want to cold call leads any longer and I didnt want to be limited to marketing just 2 or 3 things.
The way to make money online is to market MANY things, from many sources, to cover many Demographics, as well as Seasons and whats relevant in the Marketplace. I didnt want to wharehouse or ship, that was very key. Been there, done that, and Yes I have the Hat, T-Shirt and keychain. I LOve this Industry and I LOve doing it alongside my Wife and Partner. My Wife and I work together, travel together, and Celebrate together.
So What Does Work Best for Social Media Marketing
Then I took a reluctant look at TikTok. At first it seemed like, “Just another App, doing the same thing”. Lot of Lip syncers and dancers, mixed in with other entertainers. Then Suddenly I started seeing products for sale. Shoppable Videos, where a user posted it, but I ordered something, and it was shipped by the Manufacturer. That was a key for me.
TikTok is all about Building Followers. Then start posting videos for these followers to see, and the views are rewarded by TikTok, with more traffic. Traffic created more followers. THen as you are doing a video share of any products that you chose to put in your shopping cart, people could order right from the video you shared. This is Social Media Marketing at its best.
Personally I think they have created the best platform for average people to get start and get monetized without a lot of experience, marketing capital, or an existing following to carry over. Also anyone can look around, study people, and find a Mentor that can teach you. When you find that Mentor that LOves to Teach, Everything gets easier.
Then the next thing I seen was a Lady, doing a Live meeting, and she was teaching people how to do TikTok. There were a bunch of people in the room thanking her, and commenting in chat, and saying things like, This is what I really needed, thank you. They were getting a course on how to build TikTok
Lastly, I went into another room and watched a mentor with many followers, all sharing and connecting with each other. They were helping new people make connections, grow and hit goals. New people were gaining new followers, just for being in the room and connecting and helping others.
Everything just fell together for me, and I told my wife, I think we will enjoys this, and we can create a room where we do both. Teach them how to Build TikTok and Help them make connections and Grow. This is in my DNA !!! Helping others and everyone growing together.
I was no longer taking a reluctant look at tiktok, I was “ALL IN”. Let me learn the ropes and figure this out, so I can also teach it. What has always made me a great Mentor, was first being the Best Student I could be.

Usually everyone just figures them out on their own, eventually, or they Find a Mentor, hosting a Live, that continuously teaches all of the above.
