Teaching Others To Be Successful or Being the best at Mentoring others in Success Training
I started working for myself at a very young age. I went to work with one of my Uncles. I learned enough to eventually do side jobs, and that turned into my side jobs getting so frequent, I ventured off on my own.
I failed a few times, but never gave up. Though I was very good at some, there were a few times, I learned about a NIche I thought looked easy, added it into my abilities too soon and failed. Sometimes I put too much on my plate and found I needed more hours in the day. Other times it was just not enough experience or the right tools
One year I hurt my back pretty bad and needed to get out of construction and learn a new trade. I went to school to be an aviation mechanic. I thought that was a passion, but turned out it was more of a stress management position. I Graduated, went to work at a small airport for 7 or 8 months and quit to do something else I discovered while I was in school.
I started reading Self Help, Business and Marketing Books. The first book I can remember was Napolean Hill, “THink and Grow Rich”. that changed everything for me because I believed in the power of Positive Self Talk and Positive thinking. Eventually I learned how to manifest whatever I truly needed or really wanted, in my Life.
I learned a lot about myself in a couple of years time. I loved helping other people. I was helping people with their quality of Life. The Physical Quality and the Financial Quality of Life. It was great helping them find the right products and services to make their Lives Better. One day I was put in place to help someone else do what I do and I fell in Love with Mentoring others to a path to Success. Mentoring others became one of the most gratifying activities I had ever been a part of.
I listened to Jim Rohn every day. If you have never heard of Jim or listened to Jim, you have been deprive of a Golden relationship. Jim’s Self Help Philosophy changed me forever. Whenever I heard of a Success Training Seminar, that Jim was speaking at, I made sure I was there.
I vacationed with Jim a few times after meeting him, and one morning, at a great resort in Hawaii, I found myself alone with Jim at Breakfast. Turns out we were both early risers. That conversation and Golden time, Jim shared so many great visions with me, that I carried them with me for decades and still listen to him today. He has passed on to the next realm, but his teachings will last an eternity
I learned to listen well also. I wanted to help other people. I needed to teach them and to properly teach them, I had to know them. My Grandfather told me “To Teach, is to Cause to Learn”. Mentoring others became my serious passion. I got so much more out of helping others than I did on any project that was my personal focus.
Personal Development had become a way of Life for me. I became the best student of Success, I could be. I was a regular visitor of the Self Help section of our local bookstore, as well as any seminars I could get to and find more Mentoring.
I found my passion and leaned into it. When I was 17 years old I watched my Mom have a seizure and I never felt more helpless in my life. I joined the Army to be a medic, so I could always be able to help others. That path didnt work out passed the 4 years I enlisted for, but it lead me to more education, where I was eventually introduced to an Industry that really allowed me to help a lot of people. I found someone that was into Mentoring others and we connected.
I learned how to “Teach to Teach”, as I learned how to help more people, I also learned that teaching them what I knew, and sharing it was others, was multiplying my efforts to help even more people. Sharing every skill I learned, helped them in their journey that they were on. Paying it forward was a Quality I Lived by for decades. Gate Keeping was a rediculous concept.
Jim set a few things into my head early. Repetition is the mother of skill and Affirmations without discipline is a delusion. Failure is a part of Growth. It is usually essential to learning. Failing FORWARD became a cool affirmation. Repitition creates success. Never give up, just keep learning. With that being said, Affirmations dont work all by themselves. We have to learn from the affirmations and apply them, over and over and over, until whatever our goal is, manifests.
One day I was spending time with Jim and told him I wanted to be a legend in this Industry. He shared with me a story I will most certainly never forget, because it was my goal and wish.
The True Legends on this planet, are the people who find ways to help the most other people. (This one touched me to my core)

If I was not the great listener that I was, I would not be able to truly help them, and if I was not the great student of success I was, I never would have been able to Teach them. I learned how to be successful, by learning a few new skills at a time, and repeating them over and over until it attracted or manifested, my goals.
My Passion was helping others. Mentoring those that seeked my time to Learn. What I put into the world would always come back to me 3 fold. Nothing feels better than to take a brother or sisters hand and lead them to the watering hole of knowledge and skill.

Today everything can be found online and usually for FREE. Just search Self Help and see how much comes to you. I had to go to the Library, order videos on VHS or cassette LOL. ou have every successful Philosopher and coach (aka professors) at your Finger tips.
You can keep working hard and helping your Boss plan his Family vacations, or you can start your side Business and grow it until it replaces your Boss and start planning your Family vacations. If you work as hard for yourself as you do your Boss, you create an abundance to change your Life forever just like I did.
